We created this Substack because the world is facing an alarming convergence of crises that overwhelm the existing humanitarian system. Something needs to change, urgently.

In this space, SeeChange staff and guest authors will provide opinions, analysis, and solutions on how we can reimagine humanitarian action.

SeeChange is a Canada-based social purpose organization that firmly believes that communities can, and should, be the co-creators of humanitarian responses.

Using an innovative approach, CommunityFirst, we forge partnerships with structurally oppressed communities in the Canadian Arctic, Latin America, and West Africa and co-design strategies that enable them to cope with health emergencies. 

We hope to stimulate debate and forge connections, and we are looking forward to reading your comments!
